Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website operated by Culét Jewellery Pty Ltd ("Culét", "we", "us") at culet.com.au and your purchase of products from us.

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or place an order.

Orders & purchase

All orders placed through the website are offers to purchase, which we may accept or reject at our discretion. An order is confirmed only when you receive a written order confirmation from us by email.

Custom and made-to-order pieces

Custom or made-to-order pieces (including engagement rings, custom wedding bands, and any piece adjusted from a base design) are produced specifically for you and are not eligible for return or refund once production has begun. You will be given an opportunity to approve a CAD render before production starts; once approved, the order is final.

In-stock pieces

In-stock fine jewellery may be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange, provided it is unworn, undamaged, in original packaging, and not engraved or resized.

Pricing & currency

All prices are displayed in Australian dollars (AUD) by default and include 10% GST for Australian customers. International orders are shipped GST-free; local duties, taxes, and customs fees are the buyer's responsibility.

We reserve the right to change prices at any time. If a pricing error is discovered after an order is placed but before despatch, we may cancel the order and refund in full.

Delivery

Delivery timelines are estimates, not guarantees. In-stock pieces typically ship within 2 business days; custom pieces take 3–4 weeks from order to despatch.

All packages are sent fully insured, signature required on delivery. Risk of loss transfers to the buyer once the package is signed for.

Returns & refunds

Refunds for eligible returns are processed within 5 business days of us receiving the returned item. Refunds are made to the original payment method.

Shipping fees on the original order are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Items eligible for return:

• In-stock fine jewellery, within 30 days of delivery
• Pieces unworn, undamaged, and in original packaging
• Pieces not engraved, resized, or otherwise modified after purchase

Warranty

Culét rings (engagement, wedding, custom, and signature) are covered by a lifetime craftsmanship warranty against structural manufacturing faults, including casting flaws, structural weakness in the setting, and setting issues identified at collection or service. Earrings, bracelets, chains, and pendants carry a 2-year manufacturing warranty from the date of completion. Diamonds and gemstones are covered for the specifications agreed at the time of purchase.

The warranty does not cover wear and tear, including scratches, dents, bent or worn claws, stone loss from impact or accidental force, surface wear on gemstones, snapped chain links from tension, discolouration from chemicals, or changes in metal finish. Loss, theft, misuse, and any work carried out by another jeweller void the warranty.

Every Culét ring includes one complimentary resize; subsequent resizes and any wear-related repairs are quoted on assessment. A $40 AUD return shipping deposit ($200 AUD international) applies on posted items and is refunded on confirmed warranty claims.

Intellectual property

All design work, photography, written content, and trademarks on this website are the intellectual property of Culét Jewellery or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit any content without our written permission.

Custom designs created for clients remain the intellectual property of Culét Jewellery. We retain the right to use design imagery in our marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Liability

To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our total liability for any claim arising from your purchase is limited to the price you paid for the item. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights you may have under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

Disputes

If you have a complaint or dispute, please contact us first at hello@culet.com.au. We aim to resolve all issues directly within 14 days.

If a dispute cannot be resolved, it will be governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

Changes to terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version applies to all orders placed after the "last updated" date shown at the top of this page. We recommend reviewing these Terms before each purchase.
