Culet Diamond

Culét (pronounced Que-lay) is the French term given to the flat surface at the bottom of a diamond. It’s purpose is to protect the bottom point of the diamond.

Forming in 2008 Culét Jewellry is the collaborative vision of Jeweller/ jewellery designer Scott Nicols, and graphic artist / musician Dane Rumble.

With 10 Years trade experience designing/ making for New Zealand’s Elite Diamond jewellers and fashion labels, Scott Nicols broke away from behind the scenes to create the design house and brand that is Culét.Jewellery. Scott has designed more than 300 engagement rings (and counting) varying in price from $3000 – $350,000. With this level of experience combined with cutting out the middlemen that most retail diamond sellers use, we are able to undoubtedly give the absolute highest quality and best value service in the market.

Specializing in bespoke engagement rings, remakes, and custom diamond piece’s no task is to little or too big. The consultation area in our shop is a place to relax and discuss your requirements over an exquisite whiskey or wine, we like to take our time as no detail is too small.  The Design can originate from an idea and a notebook sketch images you have seen online, but remember each piece tells its own story and we like to personalize each diamond piece,

Every piece is handcrafted and finished here in our Culet workshop right here in Takapuna,  Auckland, New Zealand.
